SMS Terms & Conditions

Short version.
We send you texts only about your vehicle search. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We don’t share your phone number with marketers, ever.
1. The program
The DealerKey Auto SMS program (the “Program”) sends text messages from +1 (435) 266-4166 or an assigned Twilio short/long code to US mobile subscribers who have opted in. Messages are sent from DealerKey Auto, 1096 N 450 W, Springville, UT 84663.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by (a) submitting the lead form or inventory email-unlock form on dealerkeyauto.com and checking the SMS consent box, (b) replying to one of our texts with “YES,” or (c) texting any keyword we display on the Site. You certify that the phone number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to opt it in.
Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchase. You can still work with DealerKey by email and phone calls without subscribing to texts.
3. What we send
- Saved-search alerts when a new listing matches your criteria;
- Bid status updates during an active Done-For-You engagement (lane lineup, pre-bid, win/loss, delivery ETA);
- Reminders about scheduled calls you booked with us;
- Replies to questions you text us;
- Occasional program notices (e.g., a change to these SMS terms).
We do not sell, lease, or share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers for third-party marketing purposes.
4. Frequency
Message frequency varies. On the free tier, you’ll receive up to a small number of alerts per month tied to your saved search. Paid subscribers who have opted in to unlimited alerts, and active Done-For-You clients during a live auction week, may receive daily messages.
5. Message & data rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. DealerKey does not charge for the SMS program itself. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most US regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Opt-out (STOP)
Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or END to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent. Transactional messages tied to a title transfer already in progress may be completed under separate written consent if required to finish the vehicle delivery.
To opt in again after stopping, text START or submit any form on the Site with the SMS consent box checked.
7. Help (HELP)
Reply HELP for contact info. You can also email dallin@dealerkeyauto.com or call DealerKey at the number displayed on /contact.
8. TCPA compliance
The Program is operated in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. §227) and FCC implementing rules. We only send messages to numbers that have given prior express written consent (or prior express consent, for transactional messages). We maintain an internal do-not-contact list and honor STOP requests within one message cycle.
9. Privacy
Phone numbers, message content, and delivery receipts are processed by Twilio, Inc. (our SMS sub-processor) in the United States. We retain this data only as long as needed to operate the Program and meet our legal obligations. Full detail at /legal/privacy.
10. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be sent by SMS to active subscribers at least 7 days before taking effect; the updated terms will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
